District race deserves honest debate, not insinuation

SAL

House District 20 voters will have a clear choice this November between the Democratic candidate, Paul Evans, who believes government is the answer to all our problems, and his Republican opponent, Kathy Goss, who believes the private sector and not government is the answer.

A clear choice and one that needs to be debated honestly by both candidates.

What we don’t need in HD 20 is the Democratic party and its candidate, Paul Evans, putting forth statements and creating controversy by attempting to smear his opponent, as evidenced by the push poll question in a July 26 article that insinuated that Kathy supports the use of methamphetamines. Nothing could be further from the truth.

No wonder good, honest people don’t run for political office anymore.

HD 20 voters deserve better: a healthy debate on the issues, not misrepresentations and personal attacks.
