Bike & Boat the Willamette
WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL for the boating portion of this trip BUT please register to get onto the wait list.

There is still plenty of room for folks to come ride with us up and down the river. We'll all ride up together, get the group loaded into the three boats, then those of us not floating will bike ride back down to the River House/Sladden Park. We can stop at the bridges along the way and wave (or soak) the boaters below.

-----

Come Bike and Boat the Willamette with us on Saturday, September 20th!

Registration for the “boat” portion of the celebration is required as space in the boats is limited to 18-24.

Kids must be older than 5 ride in the boats (but welcome on the bike ride). Kids 5-7 need an adult in the boat with them. Kids 7 and up don’t need an adult along (save that space for other kids if you can).

The cost for the float is only $10/person.
If you would like to participate in the boat portion of the ride but have financial restrictions please register and then contact me to talk about support <rhodes_sh@4j.lane.edu>

Here are the basic details of the event:

Meet at 11am at Sladden Park (100 North Adams Street, Eugene)

Ride to our ‘put in’ at Alton Baker Park.

Those registered for the boat ride will float back to Sladden Park. Plan to get wet!

The rest of us will do another short bike ride (stopping to watch the boaters pass under a bridge or two) and enjoy some water play while waiting to meet the boaters.

Everyone is welcome to join us back at Sladden for a mini-celebration at around 4 p.m. You bring a picnic dinner for your family and we'll bring an ice cream treat!
