OSU baseball to host NCAA regional

The NCAA selected Oregon State as a regional host in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, it announced Sunday.

OSU is one of 16 schools chosen to host regionals.

The Beavers finished the regular season with a 42-12 overall record and went 23-7 in the Pac-12 and repeated as conference champions.

They find out today if they are one of the eight national seeds.

The NCAA will announce the national seeds, as well as the entire 64-team tournament bracket, first-round pairings and site assignments, at 9 a.m. today.

The OSU baseball team will be watching the show at Reser Stadium on the club level, and the event is open to the public.

All-session tickets will be available to the public starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday (online only until 9 a.m.).

Single-game tickets can be purchased on each day, pending availability.

The University of Oregon baseball team, which finished the regular season at 42-18 overall and 18-12 in the Pac-12, is expected to receive an at-large bid today in the NCAA tournament.
